David Muñoz Martín received his M.Sc. degree and his Ph.D. degree in Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2005 and 2009, respectively. During his Ph.D., he worked in Instituto de Óptica – CSIC, where he studied the nonlinear optical properties of heavy metal oxide thin film glasses for photonic applications. Currently, he is associate professor in mechanical engineering in Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. His research interests include laser processing of materials for photovoltaic applications, laser induced forward transfer (LIFT) for flexible electronics, biofabrication and additive manufacturing.
