Carlos Romero Villareal

Carlos Romero holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Seville (2015) and a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid (2016). He obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Waikato (New Zealand) in 2020, with a thesis on the application of thermomechanical processing to improve the mechanical properties of low-cost titanium alloys processed via powder metallurgy. He joined the GTP in 2020 as a postdoctoral researcher, working on strategies to improve the properties of metal-ceramic composites.
