Postdoc Researcher

Ana Ferrández Montero

Dr. Ferrández Montero is a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Physicochemistry of Polymers and Interfaces (LPPI) at the Université de Cergy-Pontoise, France. She is also the Chief Marketing Officer and one of the co-founder of Colfeed4print S.L., an spin off of CSIC. She defended her PhD in 2018 which was developed in the Spanish National Research council (CSIC) framed in a collaborative consortium, the “MULTIMAT Challenge”. In her PhD an alternative colloidal processing technique to prepare polymer based composites for 3D printing was proposed and patented. During her postdoctoral time in the Institute of Ceramic and Glass, she was involved in the development of an international M-era.Net project.
Her research is based on the development of new polymer/inorganic composite biomaterials for biodegradable prosthesis applications. She is specialized in Additive Manufacturing technologies, biomaterials processing, colloidal chemistry, drug delivery systems and in vitro characterization.
